She assisted in the launch of Health Innovation Action including application for over $6 million in grants. As Executive Director of Alberta’s tenth Primary Care Network, she oversaw data analysis, business planning, quality improvement, human resources and continuing medical education. In a Tobacco Reduction leadership role, Yvette led community coalitions and advocacy efforts resulting in widespread implementation of smoke-free policies in public spaces. She led a first time in Canada policy which has since spread from health facilities in the Calgary Zone to post-secondary institutions, and recreation and correction services across Canada. Yvette is a recipient of two People First awards, the highest award presented by Calgary Health Region.
